It's odd that homophobes are generally people I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole (and considering my repulsiveness and hence, low standards, that says something).  And they can use gay slurs like they're going out of style, but if you use the term homophobe or homophobic, they'll get offended and probably mention something about being stereotyped and/or their rights being taken away.  Babies!
