I've been through a lot..I know what it's like to be poor, I know what it's like have a strange family because mine definitely is. There's so many stories and problems with my family that there's no way I can tell them all but here's one that I hope touches the heart of whoever is reading this. To start out I just want to say that my father is the best father I could ask for and no matter what he's done, I know it was not his fault. You see my mother and father got divorced when I was 11...and this was a result of my father's mental illness. He didn't know it was there..there were no signs until after their separation but it stole his life away..stripped him of his family, his sanity, his intelligence (my father is a veteran of the air force), and took his one love that he will never forget. For 6 years, he lived on his own, no kids running around, no one to talk to, he was losing his life one minute at a time. Now my father is 66 and has had a few strokes, pneumonia 3 times, and just recently a blood clot in his leg. I'm doing all that I can to be there for him when I can but I need your prayers and your hope to pull him through for at least long enough so that he can have that smile across his face again and that love that I miss so much. He has missed the crucial part of my life, the teen years, and I want him to feel that joy again of having a family that loves him. Love and prayers are deeply needed....thank u for reading my story.
