I finally got the e-mail and proposed legislative amendments of the Governor, sprinkled with some case citations. It seems that there is legal precedent against changing ballot status requirements in an election year. If  HB 245 is signed into law, Delaware will go from nine parties to six (as few as four in the worst case scenario); thus limiting voter's choices in an Orwellian age of special interest domination of government at public expense. It looks like the bill is on the super fast track as it sailed through the State Senate in ten days and is now sitting on the Governor's desk.

Let's see what the response is....
