As I embark on this long journey, I ask myself and you, is there such a thing; can two souls coincide as one? What's the mystery behind finding, sharing, caring, and enjoying true love between a man and a woman? Who controls life wonders in matters of the Heart?
No matter what I could or do say, words could never be enough. Words could never fill that void, that emptiness, a want, a need and a desire. Just words could not express what I want to share with you. It’s so deep, all the way to my Spirit. It’s indescribable!
I never really considered writing or poetry as an occupation, but what a way to speak. The following is something I want to share with you, what I’ve learned over the years to get through, to find some form of release. We all have gifts and talents hidden in a place only you will know, that brings you passion and joy. For me, I have many and now found writing and poetry. To quote a statement, writing is like “making love” you don’t worry about the “O” just concentrate on the process. Enter where all is darkly new.
Over the years, I have fought many battles, weathered many storms, and gone through numerous trials and tribulations. We all have, but can you honestly in your heart say and know what it means to “Love”. At some point in life we all have wondered; even believed we know what Love is. But what is love? Is it an emotion, a feeling, or a way of life? There are many questions, but I can tell you this, Love is not a feeling. You can feel it sometimes and show some form of love; even this does not explain the truth; but just imagine with me for a moment, what would it be like to have passion coursing through your soul, an imagination that knows no bounds, joy in serving another, or self control, without a “What do I get in return mind”. We all have heard what love is, said I Love You, and even know there are all kinds of love. For example, there’s “Family Love, Brotherly Love, even Erotic Love. You can display all forms of Love, but do you still know the truth. Before I continue, let me go back to what is love? Without giving a lot of unnecessary definitions, “True Love” is explained in 1 Corinthians 13-4: Love is patient, Love is kind, It doesn't want what belongs to others, It does not brag, It is not proud, It is not rude, It does not look out for it's own interest, It does not easily become angry, It does not keep track of other peoples wrongs. Love is not happy with evil, but it is full of joy when the truth is spoken, It always protects, It always trust, It always hopes, It never gives up. Love never fails. Every word you have ever used for Love, every dream you have ever had of what true Love is meant to be, every sweetness you have ever felt, the greatest beauty that you have beheld; all of them are nothing compared to the living truth. Like many things in this world, we tend to go with what one can physically see or feel in the flesh. If you think about this, the first thought that comes to mind is usually based on what one felt, got, or did to (feel) love. Now, we all know what real love is. Do you know who controls and decides which two souls should come and be together? You, me, or is it perhaps “The One” who has all control. To really understand and know true love, the three most important things in life you can have are Faith, Hope, and Love. Of all things, Love is the greatest. But more importantly, you must seek the one who has authored love.
True love originates in the Heart of God. Therefore, love is not a feeling, but it is in the Heart as a decision. You must first submit, surrender, and trust God, then accept the joy in which his teachings will bring; then and only then, will you truly gain the full meaning of love, His Love. To know love, you must be in God, “The Father, The Son, The Spirit” only He will renew your mind and heart with the truth. What does all this mean? Remember this, Love is not a feeling; love is in the heart as a decision. When you decide to love everything else goes with it. And when you decide to love another, nothing or no one can change that. That’s it!
Like many, I was one who at least thought I controlled who I love and should be with. Sure, we all make our own choices, but lets face reality, only God has power and control over all things. No matter how hard you try; You can run or hide, search high or low, even deny; I can’t say this enough, when you fully submit yourself first, to God, The Creator! He will quench all your thirsts. With him, all things are possible.
We all have heard the many stereotypes of the way to a man’s or woman’s heart is; STOP. Forget what you heard, the key to this is within our Heavenly Father. In other words, gaining a man or woman heart comes from trusting, believing, and obedience to God. The greatest and most priceless act one could give, as far as winning “that” man or woman heart is by leading, guiding, even helping that man or woman to come and know “The Most High” God. Then walk with him or her and you will realize who is ”The One” for you. Listen, you may have heard, here this, we all have another Soul that God created you for, just you. Come journey with me, if you dare. What is written ahead is “oh so” true. Allow me to take you to a place only the Spirit knows.
It is so easy for us to say “I Love You”. Often with saying “I Love You” it comes with a stipulation. For instance: I Love You “IF” I Love You “BUT” or I Love You “EXCEPT”. Because of these three words, many miss and never know the meaning of Love or even “Being In Love”. What does it mean? We say I Love You for what, convenience, happiness, out of respect, the list could go on. Here’s a question. Do you know the difference between saying “I Love You and Being In Love”? Is there a difference? You may or may not agree, but there is a difference. Care to Know? “Let us stop just saying we love each other. Let us really show it by our actions. It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord, even in our Hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. (1 John 3:18-20)
Now, getting to my purpose, my story. The love I will share is far from mere physical attraction. The love I am about comes only from within verses just a physical feeling or acting in love. To further illustrate and to show what I am referring to, just hear these two words “Lust” and “Intimacy” Better than that, I’ll keep it real, how about “SEX”! If this is what you are used to, that is exactly what you will get. But if you would like to explore and express something that is more than just SEX, I welcome you to my world, my journey, a place that is forbidden for many, hush-hush for others, but very informing with the truth................................................
