whew. well i am going through a bunch of life changes right now...i have devoted myself to work...which it's a lifestyle more than anything... i work many hours like many of my brothers and sisters do in this field. i also volunteer as well, for my local fire department. i love serving my fellow man, and have a passion for excellence in pretty much everything i do. i am working on becoming an ems educator. i love music, play hand drums (djembes..) love kids, and have 4 that i call mine but are only mine in my heart. i have lots of interest, and love learing what makes other people tick. I am very easy going about most things, and try to avoid confrontations, but will stand up for what is right.
Hi! I'm doing pretty good. I have had 2 long weekends in a row. I didn't do much for xmas or new years. It's nice to just relax. Honestly the holidays are still a little hard but I did have a nice relaxing time and enjoyed myself. I really want to see the movie Australia, with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackson. It's a WWII romance. I know that's not typical of men. But it has some adventure/action. And I like both the actors.
I'm sorry about your mom. When my bro died I was very sad. And I realized that as deep as my sorrow was, it was our brotherhood, and good feelings that had filled me that I missed. He had really filled my life in more ways that I realized. Does that make sense? Here's a poem about something like that:

Hi, I read your stories and every time I see your smile I think you look familiar. But you're in TX, pretty sure we haven't met. So, my name is Jess. Pleased to meet you. How is your winter so far?
